Play & Connection Hour
A relaxed, BCBA-led play hour for young children and their caregivers.
Time & Location
Feb 02, 2026, 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
The Cozy Cupboard, 8 Factory St, Montgomery, NY 12549, USA
About the event
Join me, Rebekah Ferrier, BCBA/LBA, for a calm, supportive play hour designed for young children with autism or children who receive or qualify for Early Intervention or special education.
This is a relaxed, play-based gathering where children are free to explore toys and play stations at their own pace. A low-pressure, optional group activity will be available for children who are interested. A craft will also be provided for each child.
Caregivers stay with their child throughout the hour. Parents are welcome to enjoy coffee and a bagel, connect with other caregivers, and observe their child in a supportive environment. I will be present to model play, narrate language, demonstrate the group activity, and answer parent questions in an informal, judgment-free way.
To keep the space comfortable and not overwhelming, the group is intentionally small and limited to 5 families.
✨ No expectations. No pressure. All behaviors welcome.
